Consultancy Research and Testing Services (CRTS)

Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET) is situated 35 KM north of Dhaka city at Gazipur district which is a renowned public engineering university in Bangladesh. The Department of Mechanical Engineering of Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology has undergone through several stages of evolution and progress since its establishment in 1980. Today, congruent with 21st century’s requirements and in harmony with modern branches of science, such as Nanotechnology or Bio-Mechanics, Mechatronics and emergence of modern methods of education such as virtual or e-learning and long life self-learning skills, the mechanical engineering curricula has been programmed based on new paradigms and futuristic visions in order to prepare engineers for confronting the societal and ethical aspects of their professional life and the challenges of modern technologies.

To meet the consultancy services from the department, the Consultancy Research and Testing Services (CRTS) has been formed. CRTS undertakes research, testing and consultation works in various fields of engineering and technology as entrusted to them by private parties and by government and autonomous bodies.
